I READ with interest the report on the mayor's ball in the town hall.
As a regular at the monthly dances run by the organ society, we have not been allowed to hold any dances since April.
We were informed that all dances were cancelled until further notice, due to impending improvements to the town hall.
It seems unfair that the mayor can hold his ball and yet dance goers have to forfeit their monthly dances.
