DOCTORS are fighting to save a man's sight in one eye after he was attacked at the weekend by street robbers who made off with £4 and a packet of cigarettes.
The 47-year-old man, of Weaste, Salford, was returning from a night out when he was attacked by four masked men and poked in the eye after getting out of a taxi on Regent Road.
