THE Wanderers 'Kid for a quid' promotion paid off for Wanderers on Saturday with an above average crowd for the visit of Fulham.
Over 25,000 packed into the Stadium and created a good atmosphere although the game ended in a disappointing goalless draw.
Manager Sam Allardyce, however, was delighted with the response.
He said: "It was a great crowd and a good opportunity to get young people into the stadium.
"This is the future support. If this was the first time they have been to a football match then we might attract them to be Bolton Wanderers fans from now on.
"That is crucially important for us."
