DETECTIVES investigating a murder conspiracy raided homes in Bolton and Bury.
The raids followed the arrest of two Merseyside men who are still helping police with their inquiries.
Homes in Blackley, Middleton, Clayton and Northern Ireland were also raided by police officers at 7am on Thursday.
One of the two Liverpool men was arrested on suspicion of firearms offences and and the second man on suspicion of conspiracy to murder after a significant recovery of firearms and ammunition was made.
The two men remain in custody in Merseyside.
