LEARNING languages later in life is still possible and can be even more rewarding, says the Regional Language Network North West (RLN NW). To coincide with Adult Learners Week from May 15 to 21, the Government-backed organisation is spreading the word that adults from 18 to 80 plus can benefit.
RLN NW manager, Dr Cristina Sousa, said: "It's never too late to start learning languages. There is a popular misconception that only the young can pick up new languages, but this couldn't be further from the truth."
