BOLTON'S Unity Chartered accountants have been appointed to the newly launched residential property division of commercial letting firm MDA.

They will work alongside Manchester firm Glaisyer's in the company's fast-growing residential division, which is expected to build more than 100 new houses and flats this year. Turnover is expected to reach £10 million.

MDA was established in 2001 and currently operates a commercial division providing 23,000 square feet of serviced office space in the region.

MDA director Mark Evans said: "The difference between excellent and OK advice can have massive implications for a property development business.

"The issues surrounding tax and the need to complete transactions in a very short space of time require real specialists, and with Unity and Glaisyers, we are confident we have first-class people working on our behalf," Mr Evans added.
