IT was great to see a picture of Bolton man Vic Faulkner on our Business pages winning an award as top salesman for Thwaites Brewery for the third time.
He's 59 now and the time when he was European wrestling champion is just a memory. Bsut it seems no time at all since I used to sit with my Dad in front of the TV on Saturday afternoons watching the wrestling.
Kent Walton's smooth commentary and Vic and his brother Bert Royle making up the best tag team in the business were my idea of heaven.
Aaah ..... happy days.
