RACES for all the family are set to take place during Horwich Carnival weekend.
The races take place on Sunday, June 20, and will include the mile-long Esporta Health Club Fun Run, the Georgia Pacific Five Kilometre Race, as well as the Warburtons North of England Athletics Association Five Kilometre Road Running Championships and the Miller Metcalfe Estate Agents National Men's Circuit Series Cycling Race.
There will also be the crowd-pleasing Penny Farthing Challenge, where Penny Farthing riders are put to the test in a three lap handicap event against teams of cyclists and runners.
Sponsored by Asda, the races will help raise money for this year's chosen charities - Guide Dogs for the Blind and Bolton Mountain Rescue Team.
