HEALTH experts in Bolton are warning people to cook food thoroughly in the warm weather when they have barbecues.
Salmonella, the most common cause of food poisoning, is found in poultry and uncooked or raw meat. Hot dogs can contain listeria and burgers e-coli.
Cases of poisoning increase during the summer months as people eat undercooked food on a barbecue.
