nWHEN Bolton's handsome Market Hall finally gets its makeover it's vital that it retains its sense of history.
The building's owners have promised to restore some of its Victorian splendour, and that's good news.
I've always wondered if the original designers of the Trafford Centre didn't take a sneaky peak at the Market Hall and how shoppers move seamlessly from stalls into the mall area of stores in the much newer Market Place.
The Trafford Centre now has just that arrangement.
