WANDERERS' transfer frustrations continued today as Wolves insisted that striker Henri Camara would not be moving to the Reebok.

The 27-year-old Senegal international handed in a transfer request - which has been rejected - following Wolves' relegation from the Premiership.

Willie McKay, Camara's agent, has said that the Whites have made an offer for the striker, who hit seven goals last season as Wolves finished bottom of the table.

And Molineux sources have confirmed that the Whites have made an enquiry about Camara's availability.

Camara would not come cheap, however, with Wolves likely to demand a minimum of £4m for the forward, who is also understood to be interesting Blackburn and Middlesbrough.

But McKay said that the size of the transfer fee could be a stumbling block.

He said: "Wolves' valuation of Henri and his own valuation of himself is completely different."

Camara still has three years to run on his contract at Molineux after joining for £1.5m from French club Sedan last summer.

He said: "If I said to you that I wanted to leave Wolves I'd be lying. My heart is here, I love playing here, but I came over to England to play in the Premiership."
