The 35-year-old woman was in Arlington Avenue, Sedgley Park, when two men tried to open the passenger door.
One of the thieves then smashed the window and forcefully grabbed the terrified victim's handbag.
She was dragged out of the vehicle and onto the ground, injurying her knee and elbow.
The incident happened at around 2.30pm last Friday
One of the offenders was white, aged between 25 and 30, 5ft 5ins, of stocky build, with stubble on face. He was wearing a dark baseball cap and a dark top with hood up.
He was accompanied by a teenager aged about 15 who was also wearing dark sports clothing and dirty white trainers.
