THE sun shone down on Horwich as dozens of people gathered to watch Sunday's Civic Parade.
Led by a brass band, members of St John Ambulance, Royal Navy cadets and carnival royalty joined the new Town Mayor Cllr Kevan Helsby, the Mayor of Bolton Cllr Cliff Morris and other local councillors for the annual event. The group set off from outside Horwich Resource Centre, Beaumont Road, at 10.30am and walked to St Mary's RC Church where a civic mass was held at 11am.
