THE driver of a white Vauxhall van allegedly fled after it careered out of control and crashed into a garden wall.

A passenger was also seen running away from the collision in Scholes Bank, Horwich, shortly before 10.30pm yesterday.

A woman was later arrested and charged with a variety of motoring offences. She was granted bail until an appearance in court appearance later this month.
