SATURDAY: Wanderers twice come from behind to take a point from a 2-2 draw with Aston Villa at the Reebok.

Henrik Pedersen is first to level, early in the second half, after Peter Crouch heads Villa in front on 18 minutes, but Lee Hendrie restores the visitors' lead within four minutes.

Sam Allardyce, who surprisingly relegated Ivan Campo, Stelios and Nicky Hunt to the subs' bench, is facing a sixth defeat in seven Premiership games until Kevin Davies equalises four minutes from the end of normal time. Wanderers move back up to 12th in the table.

MONDAY

KEVIN Davies is the hero of Molineux after hitting the injury-time winner -- his ninth goal of the season -- to secure a 2-1 victory over Wolves that takes Wanderers to 41 points and virtually assures a fourth successive season of Premiership football.

Allardyce, concerned about the fatigue factor, takes a calculated gamble by starting with Jay-Jay Okocha and Youri Djorkaeff on the bench, but it pays off with a sixth away win of the season.

Wolves, doomed to be relegated, are fuming with referee Uriah Rennie, who turns down two penalty appeals, but they ultimately pay the penalty for committing themselves to attack late on.

Henrik Pedersen heads his eighth of the season to put Wanderers in front on 43 minutes but slack defending allows Henri Camara to equalise a minute later. Wanderers end the day 10 points clear of the drop zone.

TUESDAY

JAY-JAY Okocha says he is ready to talk contracts again after Sam Allardyce confirms he is now in a position to open negotiations with his out of contract players.

Kevin Nolan underlines his determination to finish the season with a flourish by insisting Wanderers target a top 10 finish and could even have their sights on a UEFA Cup place.

WEDNESDAY

THREE goals in four games has warmed Henrik Pedersen to the task of taking on Allardyce's challenge to be a more consistent and reliable scorer. The Dane says he is hoping to finish the season on a high.

Charlie Comyn-Platt is sent off as the reserves go down 1-0 at Everton.

THURSDAY

KEVIN Nolan urges Reebok fans to roar the team on in their three remaining home games to boost their hopes of a top 10 finish. He says the players were disappointed to be booed off at half-time in the Villa game, when they were 1-0 down.

Jay-Jay Okocha is one of six Premiership stars nominated for the PFA Player of the Year award.

FRIDAY

SAM Allardyce says Okocha's PFA honour is thoroughly deserved but hails Kevin Davies as his personal player of the year.

The manager says he would sacrifice two away defeats if Wanderers could win their three remaining home games.
