Steve Gilmore, with yet another great win, 21-8, was the best of the winners as they hammered Colne Cricket 12-2, with Albert Starkie just missing a full house by the narrowest of margins 20-21.
With the Globe losing at home to Darwen Subs 10-4, Bar Lane have made an early claim for that number one spot.
At the other end Turton slumped to a home defeat to Blackburn's East Lancs 6-8, John Haslam being Turton's best with a fine 21-6 win.
