RECENTLY a correspondent highlighted the fact that we Britons are far too much of a soft touch.
This is indeed the case with crime, being pushed around by Eurocrats and taking everything on the chin. The British stoicism makes us unique!
We have always been a soft touch on immigration policies, but since being involved with the Europe caucus it is becoming a real joke. Britain is a country containing 60 million people, which makes it far more densely populated than France and Germany to name just two.
Now we are going to have Eastern Europeans banging on our doors (with the keys hanging by string behind the letter box)? If these people get their way, we will have to be paying £100,000 for a dog kennel due to daft house prices already causing misery among those trying to get on the housing ladder.
This is not a question of race. It is the fact that we are far too over-populated and can't take any more!
