READERS willing to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty to help improve their environment could now receive a £50 grant.
The Environment Agency's Action Earth 2004 campaign, run by Community Service Volunteers will give out the grants to people who want to get environmental projects up and running. This could be a make over for a patch of land, a recycling scheme or anything to benefit your neighbourhood.
To sign up or for more information call 0121 328 7455 or visit www.csv environment.org.uk/ action earth to find a local registered activity.
