HUNDREDS of music lovers enjoyed an evening of show stopping entertainment on Tuesday night when young musicians took to the stage in their droves.
Bolton's Albert Halls was filled with the sound of music as groups such as the Bolton Urban Music Project and Bolton Junior Percussion Ensemble had a taste of the limelight, as part of a music festival scheduled to run until Thursday evening. Other acts included Bolton Junior Percussion Ensemble, Bolton Youth Clarinet Choir, Bolton Youth Jazz Orchestra and the school choir from St Osmund and Andrew RC Primary School, Breightmet.
Performances will be given on Wednesday night by the Bolton Gamelan Ensemble, Bolton Junior Training Strings and Bolton Intermediate Wind Ensemble.
