MALCOLM Pittock's repeated theories tend to become a bit of a bore after a while.
Nonetheless, his latest diatribe (or should it be diatripe?)in the Bolton Evening News (March 20th) prompted me to put pen to paper.
Mr Pittock states (for the umpteenth time) that there is no difference between acts of war and acts of terrorism. From which is deduced that if a member of the Armed Forces goes to war then they are directly equivalent to a terrorist carrying out acts of terrorism - such as the diabolical events that recently took place in Madrid.
Apparently, according to Malcom Pittock, we should look to him and his associates as the prime reason why acts of terrorism have not been committed in the UK. In Mr Pittock's mind he sees Osama Bin Laden advising his terrorists not to do anything nasty to Britain because of Malcolm and his ilk.
In the meantime, please Mr Pittock, don't come to the USA to protect us from terrorism - please stay in Breightmet instead!
