ACCORDING to the Bolton Evening News front page, January 28, at least four schools had to close because the staff couldn't get in, due to two inches of snow.
What a shame! Any excuse!
How does everyone else manage?
Was the hospital closed also? Garages, shops, dentists? No buses, taxis -- the list is endless of people who could blame a bit of abnormal weather as a reason not to go to work.
It's pathetic.
