Two weeks notice, starring Hugh Grant and Sandra Bullock, sounds like a stereotypical chick flick.
Especially when reading the tag line "A story about a man who found the girl of this dreams but didn't notice."
However, the movie overcomes initial appearances and is actually extremely funny, but touching at times - without being too sloppy.
Grant plays wealthy property developer George Wade who has an eye for the ladies and a reputation for being selfish. Attorney with a conscience, Lucy Kelson (Bullock) is battling to save her beloved local community centre.
This underpins the whole story as Lucy promises to work for Wade in exchange for his company saving the centre.
This film is fantastic, there is an electric chemistry between the pair and this makes the film totally believable.
Grant's one-liners are hilarious and make what could be uncomfortable scene of emotion bearable for the audience, but the big kiss at the conclusion of the film is well worth the anticipation.
Not a very good film to see if your single this Valentines day, but it does provide all singletons with hope that we are all capable of finding some one to love us!
