WHITE Horse moved to the top of the Premier Division thanks to a 5-3 home victory against Spread Eagle.
Tim Gallagher hit four goals for White Horse and Harrison the fifth. Roberts replied for Spread.
In a thriller Hulton Lane raced into a 3-0 lead against Astley Miners with goals from Cover and Cunniff (2). Miners hit back with two goals from Moore before Barrett put Hulton Lane 4-2 up. Miners bounced back to grab a sensational win with two goals from Whittle and the winner from Critchley.
Royal Hotel had a 4-2 home victory against Ellesmere, with Blue Bell winning 2-1 away at King William.
In Division One Farnworth SC had an excellent 10-4 away victory against Hulton Lane B. Nichols, Roberts and Barrow all scoring twice.
Prince Rupert went one up against Masons Arms with a goal from Roberts. Masons hit back with two second half goals from Ormrod and Ashton for a 2-1 victory.
Great Lever went one up against Railway with a strike from Shaw, but Vasaya levelled for Railway.
Horwich St Mary's had a 7-2 away victory against Queen Anne, and North Bolton beat Schooner 6-3 at home.
