CONFIRMATION that Stelios is one of the stars of Greek football came today with news that the Wanderers wide man has topped a poll of his fellow professionals.
The 29-year-old attacker has been awarded the coveted Players' Player of the Year for the 2002-03 season in the Greek League after winning his seventh successive Championship with Olympiakos.
Stelios, who has helped the Greece national side qualify for next summer's European Championship Finals in Portugal, will collect the award in Athens next Monday.
