REFEREE Chris Foy has backtracked on his decision to book Stelios for "diving" in Wanderers' recent home defeat by Birmingham.
The St Helens official rescinded the yellow card after reviewing the second half incident when Stelios appealed for a penalty when he went down under a challenge by Blues defender Olivier Tebilly, but he made Wanderers wait.
The decision came 10 days after the game and a week after the Football Association announced that Mr Foy had cleared Birmingham midfielder David Dunn of a similar charge of "diving" in the same game.
Last Friday the FA confirmed that Dunn's booking had been cleared from his record but had heard nothing in relation to Stelios.
