AN alert was issued today after a large quantity of Diazepam tablets were stolen in a burglary at a pharmacy in Westhoughton.
Thieves broke into M&A Pharmaceuticals in Wigan Road in the early hours of this morning.
The tablets are circular and yellow with a line down the middle and packaged in white plastic tubs with purple and yellow labels on the side.
Each tub bears the name M&A Pharmaceuticals.
Police today warned residents to be vigilant and said the tablets could be dangerous if taken.
