FIREFIGHTERS put out four car fires during one of the busiest nights of the year.
Crews at Bolton Central Fire Station received 20 emergency calls last night, many to bonfires that had been set alight.
They also attended four car fires at Bridgeman Street in Daubhill, Pennington Lane and Lever Hulme Avenue in Great Lever, and at Elswick Avenue, Deane.
Sub Officer Fraser Jones said: "We expect it to be even busier tonight because of bonfire night."
