MARGARET Eddison decided it was time to jump when she was 50, right out of an aeroplane for charity.

The Bolton legal information manager marked her half-century with a skydive at the North West Parachute Centre at Grange-over-Sands in aid of Breast Cancer Care.

Margaret, who works for Keoghs Solicitors in Lostock, has been a breast cancer victim and was determined to do her best for the charity, raising a magnificent £750 with her brave effort.

But the qualified soilicitor is not the only woman at Keoghs to raise money for charity.

Legal secretary Tanya Miller, aged 36, did the Great North Run in September for Leukaemia Care, and Keogh associate Sarah Butler, aged 28, went to Africa to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in aid of Bolton Coronary Care.

Tanya's run raised more than £400 and although Sarah did not make the summit of Africa's highest mountain because of altitude sickness, she still raised £1,650.

Staff at Keoghs have also raised money for Bolton Lads and Girls Club, Bolton Wanderers Football in the Community, Derian House, Bolton Hospice, Fort Alice Women's Refuge and Smithills Brass Band.
