Manchester Phoenix 5 London Racers 4 (OT)
Phoenix captain George Awada clinched the points for Manchester and pushed his side to fourth in the table as London earned their second point of the season by taking the game into overtime.
Awada and Mike Lankshear gave the home side, playing in Deeside, a 2-1 first period lead before Racers fought back to make it 3-3, with goals from Martin Sellgren and Jani Tuominen.
Phoenix, who had British netminder and former Flintshire player Dave Clancy in goal, went 4-3 up through Mike Morin, only for Marc Long to equalise with his second of the night. Awada scored the winner in sudden death.
