MORE than 150 bus company staff are set to stage a further strike on Monday in a dispute over pay.
The drivers, cleaners and mechanics employed by Warrington Borough Transport are holding a third one day walkout after the Transport and General Workers' Union rejected a pay offer from their employers.
The action by the 169 staff is due to take place between noon on Monday to noon on Tuesday after the company said it was unable to meet their pay demands.
TGWU officials are pursuing a 14.9 per cent pay deal, which they say will bring the Warrington Borough Transport staff's wages in line with other bus operators in the area.
A union spokesman said the fact the dispute was the first among company staff for up to 30 years "indicates the depth of feeling" about levels of pay.
