THE TAMAR public house on Wigan Road, Leigh, is resurrecting the Individual Open Floodlit Competition, which is open to ladies and gentlemen with a first prize of £300.
The dates available are: September 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 9, 30 and October 1. The final night is Thursday, October 2. The start and scratch time for all the dates is 7pm.
Entries, which are limited to 64, should be sent to the organiser Mr N Abbott, 7 Banks Court, Wigan Road, Leigh, WN7 5AJ. Entry fee is £10, and all cheques to be made payable to The Tamar Bowling Club.
