BINGO players at Our Lady of Lourdes Social Club on Plodder Lane had to be evacuated on Sunday night after vandals set fire to rubbish next to a doorway.
The flames spread to the back door of the building and firemen were called to put out the blaze before people were allowed back inside.
Damage was confined to the door and door frame.
