GLEN Little is hoping he still has a chance to realise his dream of playing Premiership football.
The Burnley winger's hopes of making his Bolton debut against Middlesbrough were wrecked when when he pulled up with a groin injury just before the end of Friday's training session.
Early indications suggest he could be sidelined for at least 10 days and that could cover the remaining period of his one-month loan agreement.
"I can't believe it," Little said. "I've never had a groin injury in all my career. It came right at the end of training too, but I suppose it was better going then than in the game.
"I haven't spoken to the manager because he's got more things to worry about than me but I can only hope he gives me another chance."
Allardyce had been impressed by Little's work in training and confirmed that he would have been on the subs' bench had he not been injured.
His place went to Mario Jardel who spent the previous seven days at a training camp in Spain.
