A MOTORCYCLIST from Bolton was killed after his high-powered bike collided head-on with two cars.
Stephen Hibbert, aged 38, of Brookhouse Avenue, Farnworth, had been riding his Kawasaki bike along Sydbrook Lane in Croston, Lancashire, when he rounded a left-hand bend and collided with a Toyota Rav 4 and a Hyundai travelling in the opposite direction.
He was thrown from the bike and died at the scene from serious multiple injuries, police said.
The driver of the Toyota, a 33-year-old woman from Croston and the driver of the Hyundai, a 67-year-old woman from Hutton, were both treated for shock.
The road was closed for more than three hours at around 12.30pm on Saturday as police launched an investigation.
