NEW Wanderers defender Emerson Thome won an unusual off-the-pitch accolade this week.
The 31-year-old Brazilian was named in The Daily Mirror's team of the sexiest Premiership footballers.
"He is the kind of rugged, commanding centre half who looks like he can always keep control on the field -- and behind closed doors," drooled reporter Jane Ridley.
Thome lined up in the "dreamy team" alongside England goalkeeper David James, Arsenal striker Thierry Henry and some guy called David Beckham.
