LEIGH RMI travel to Gravesend tomorrow desperate to get their season back on track.

The Railwaymen started brightly with eight points from five games, but have lost their last two home games.

"We made a bright start and recent results have taken the shine off it, so it is improtant we get something at Gravesend," said manager Mark patterson.

"It is important we keep daylight between ourselves and teams like Gravesend."

The Kent side have picked up only three points this season with a victory at bottom club Farnborough Town and manager Andy Ford has a host of injury problems and is still seething after having three players sent off in last weekend's defeat at Scarborough.

Patterson, who signed Andy Roscoe and Martyn Forrest earlier in the week, has agreed to take on former Wanderers' academy striker Chris Downey, who has impressed in the reserves and scored twice in the 7-2 win over Burscough in midweek.

Patterson has dropped his interest in former Macclesfield midfielders Jamie Milligan and Lee Hardie.
