LANCASHIRE welcomed back Peter Martin for the opening day of their championship match against leaders Sussex at Old Trafford this morning.

Martin replaces Steven Crook as Lancashire look to gain revenge for their only defeat in the four-day game this season.

After their back-to-back victories over Surrey and Warwickshire, Mike Watkinson's side are now looking to creep up on second-place Surrey.

The game with Sussex is Lancashire's last home fixture of the championship season, although they can clinch the National Laegue Division 2 title at Old Trafford on Sunday against the same opposition.

That is the only change to the line-up which is: Warren Hegg (capt), Iain Sutcliffe, Stuart Law, Mal Loye, Carl Hooper, Mark Chilton, Glen Chapple, Peter Martin, Kyle Hogg, Gary Keedy and John Wood.
