A DOZEN people were arrested for drunken behaviour and minor disorder offences after England's European Championship victory against Liechtenstein at Old Trafford last night.
Police say the international fixture passed off with no incidents of violence or disorder.
Match commander, Chief Supt Dave Ryder said: "We were very pleased with the game, the policing operation and the behaviour of the fans.
"There was no sign of any violence and there was no need to arrest anyone for attacks on rival fans.
"It couldn't have been better and gave everyone the opportunity to just enjoy the game and the occasion."
