BIRDWATCHERS are being urged to look out for a rare bird.
Nearly 600 of the small moorland finch known as the twite were ringed earlier this year, by United Utilities, to keep track of numbers. Note the colour ring on the legs and report sightings to Roy Rhodes on 01204 664305/664301.
Any sightings of the bird, a , will help identify its lifestyle and how to stop its decline.
