TOO many young people in the North-west are being locked out of the jobs market and education system, according to a new report.
The Prince's Trust is calling for more to be done to help disadvantaged young people who find it hard to get a job.
A dossier found too many young people are being held back by a lack of qualifications, bad behaviour, drug and alcohol abuse or a criminal record.
The report is based on interviews with more than 900 of the UK's "hardest to reach" 14-25 year olds. It highlights the need for a more flexible education system.
