COMIC ENTRANCE: Jordan Crook, aged 12, with fellow Shakespeare actors Kate Wallis, Wyn Humphreys and Hannah Bounds

TWO drama students are preparing for an outdoor performance of a Shakespeare play at an historic Bolton building.

Jordan Crook, aged 12, and Jamie Simpson, aged 17, will be performing in Twelfth Night at Mere Hall in Thomasson Park.

Jamie will play the lead role of Viola, while Jordan will play Olivia's servant boy in the comedy of twins, love and disguise.

The production is being staged by the Mimesis Theatre Company. Jordan and Jamie are members of the Bolton-based Fame Factory.

The play, which will have Mere Hall as a backdrop, will include beach scenes and fancy costumes.

The play is being performed on Sunday, August 24, at 2pm, and on Tuesday, August 26, and Friday, August 29, at 7pm. Tickets are available from Bolton's Tourist Information Centre.
