A SECTION of canal near a Chorley tourist attraction has made the finals of a national environmental competition.
The Leeds and Liverpool canal near the Botany Bay shopping and craft centre has been nominated in the Biffaward Awards for a bank repair and wheelchair access scheme. The winning project, announced on October 30, will receive £7,500 towards its work.
