FIREFIGHTERS were at a scrapyard for two hours on Wednesday night as they battled to put out an industrial skip fire.
Two fire engines from Atherton station attended the blaze at Leigh Road, in Hindley Green at 9.30pm, which they believe was started deliberately. No one was injured in the blaze.
