A MAN who prompted a police search after disappearing following a night out, has telephoned the Bolton Evening News to say he is safe and well. Andrew Paynter, aged 22, has been staying with a friend.
His parents, Don and Margaret, of Glencoe Drive, Breightmet, say they are pleased their son is safe.
Andrew realised there was a police search for him when his boss at Compensation Claims 4 U, in Bank Street, Bolton, quizzed him. Andrew said: "My boss looked at me and asked, 'Are you missing?' It was a bit of a shock."
