WESTHOUGHTON'S long-standing course record of 64 was equalled by new club member Wayne Denton in the Benyon Trophy singles medal.
Denton has won five competitions despite only joining the club this year after a spell out of the game. Previously he was a member at Leigh, where he won the club championship three times and still holds the course record of 63.
