EDUCATION expert Lord David Puttnam is visiting Merseyside on Thursday to discuss local and national schooling issues.
Lord Puttnam is attending education company MGL in Liverpool to meet with head teachers and directors of the city's Education Action Zones.
Items on the agenda will include ways in which the public and private sectors can work more closely to raise education standards.
