ROUND Tablers from Leigh will be hosts to visitors from Sweden, Germany and France in June during Round Table International Weekend.
The Leigh branch has planned a series of functions for their overseas colleagues on the weekend of June 12 to 15.
On Thursday, June 12, a welcome meeting and get-together will be held at the Travellers Rest, Newton Road, Lowton, when the entertainment will be provided by Leigh Zodiacs morris dance team.
The following morning, after a meeting in the Mayor's Chamber at Leigh Town Hall, a games afternoon at Leigh Cricket Club and an evening barn dance are planned. Much of Saturday will be taken up with a visit to the Mersey River Festival, followed by a dinner dance at the Daten Club, Culcheth. The visitors leave on Sunday, June 15, from Leigh Cricket Club.
