WITH the manager of the year vote coming up Wanderers boss Sam Allardyce's dealings with the limited funds at his disposal has always impressed a number of people in the game.

But that is not something which gets him too excited.

"Manager of the Year? It's David Moyes isn't it?

"Manager of the Year is not a problem for me because I am only interested in moving this club forward.

"Whoever gets it will deserve it but I don't think it will be me. I once won the league by 16 points with Notts County without buying a player and breaking several club records and I didn't get it then. They gave it to David Jones for finishing about 10th in the Premiership."
