LANCASTER will be transformed into first century Jerusalem today as it re-creates the first Good Friday.
A pageant, staged by Lancaster City Council, will take place outside St Peter's RC Cathedral from 6.30 - 9pm depicting the Crucifixion of Christ.
It is hoped people attending the 'Crucifixion' will wear biblical dress.
