CHORLEY Film Society's current season draws to a close this Sunday, April 13, with the gangster drama 'Road to Perdition' showing at the Chorley Little Theatre.

It's a powerful drama of revenge and family ties starring Tom Hanks, Paul Newman and Jude Law and won an Oscar for its cinematography.

The society promises it will look and sound great, thanks to recent investment in new equipment, including a big screen and six speakers.

In the last 18 months the society shown more than 50 films across the North West, and contributed to plays and events.

Anyone with an interest in film can get involved and suggest a film for next season.
